Call for True Stories on the theme Empty Nest

November's Stories at the Stories theme is "empty nest"

We're looking for true stories about kids, parents, and partners leaving home. Stories that explore growing up, moving on, and being left behind. We're collecting, hoarding, and acquiring stories of freedom, loneliness, and growth and considering how life and roles change when everyone else is gone.

There are other stories, happy ones, and we want those too.

If you have a true story to share that loosely interprets the theme "empty nest" we would love to hear it either in person, audio, or typed.

November's Stories at the Store is November 30th in the Print Room at the Storey, Lancaster. To sign up for a 3-5 minute open mic slot, email us , leave a comment here, find us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

To have your true story included in our upcoming podcast or on our website, get in touch. You do not have to be a writer to share your story. This is a wide call for anyone with a true story to share. Everyone has a story, we're interested in yours.

Remember, the theme loosely explores the theme empty nest.
Who are you when you're the only one left?
