Introducing North West Literary Salon's Children's Reading Series
Summer + Reading= Fun!
Celebrate summer reading and First Fridays with North West Literary
Salon's first ever children's salon.
Join us as author Leila Rasheed reads from her celebrated children's
series featuring Bathsheba Clarice de
Trop. Leila may even read from the Witch of Turlingham series. Either way, it's
sure to be a delight.
This is a free event ideal for book lovers between 7-13 (and their
adults), the engaging readings will be followed by delicious snacks, delightful
music and a chance to chat with the author.
Leila Rasheed is the author of Chips, Beans and Limonusines (a Red House Read of the Year) and
sequels, also the Witch of Turlingham series as Ellie Boswell, and the Somerton trilogy for
Disney-Hyperion USA. She created and delivers the Megaphone Writer Development
Programme (www.megaphonewrite.com)
which supports new ethnic minority writers of children's literature.
