Call for True Stories: Stories at the Storey true story Open Mic Night
Sometimes the greatest gift, is the past. The theme for May's Stories at the Storey is ancestors/ancestry.
What is Stories at the Storey?
Stories at the Storey is a live true story open mic night where real people share real stories. It's an engaging evening with words, refreshments and community. The stories are sometimes funny, sad, reflective, or anything in between. They are always true.
What kind of stories do we look for?
At Stories at the Storey we like stories that move us to think, imagine, feel, laugh, cry, shout. The story you share is completely up to you. Our mission is to build community, one story at a time.
So whether you're a baker, historian, genealogist, scrapbooker, mother, daughter, father, brother, sister, son, cousin, aunt, uncle or have a story about one, we'd like to hear your true story about ancestry. Have a 3-5 minute true story to share?
When is the next Stories at the Storey?
The next true story live open mic night is Thursday, May 26 from 7-8PM at The Storey in Lancaster.
Contact us here or via firstname.lastname@example.org for a slot.
Not able to make May 26th's true story open mic night? Send us your story and we may post it on our blog, Facebook or Twitter
