If These Walls Could Talk: Call for True Stories about Lancaster Castle


Do you have a true story about an experience within the walls of Lancaster Castle?

If you have visited, worked in (past/current) or lived near (past/current) Lancaster Castle and have a true story to tell, I’d love to hear it and to record it.

What kind of true stories about Lancaster Castle?

I want to hear your true stories about love, loss, meetings, missed connections, interviews, visits, work, exhibits, trials, shows; As long as your story takes place within the walls of Lancaster Castle, I want to hear it.

Who am I and why do I want your true stories about Lancaster Castle?

I’m a Creative Writing PhD student at Lancaster University, a writer, Creative Co-Producer of Stories at the Storey, North West Literary Salon and Off the Page as well as founder of The Writing Life radio show. I’m creating a pilot for a radio series, If These Walls Could Talk, a show that explores the stories within the walls of British Heritage sites, and I’d like to interview you for my BBC Radio Lancashire demo.
